People of Action

Change Lives. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss and act upon your community’s greatest needs. Our Club’s focus is on Youth and Literacy. A small sample of our local activities include project such as building playgrounds, providing books to schools, mentoring students and our signature event “Spring Sing” in partnership with Greenville County Schools to offer instruction to music students and teachers and culminates with a performance on the Peace Center Stage in front of a sold-out audience. We sponsor highs school students through Youth Exchange – study abroad for a year program, and summer Youth Leadership programs RYLA. Internally we partner with other Rotarians in projects including the Rotary Goal to eradicate Polio from the face of the earth.
